Francesco Del Governatore serves as the Co – CEO and Board Member of GIA Healthcare, bringing a wealth of leadership experience to his role. A graduate of Bocconi University in Milan, he began his career at JP Morgan before earning a Master’s degree in Project Management.

Francesco developed his expertise within major corporations, holding various leadership roles and gaining extensive international experience. He has built strong business relationships across the globe, contributing to his dynamic and strategic approach to business growth and development.

Terry Shapiro serves as the Co-CEO and Board Member at GIA Healthcare, bringing over 35 years of experience in mental health and addiction. A Certified Addictions Counselor with a bachelor’s degree in social work from Winona State University in Minnesota and a master’s degree in Human Services Counseling (with an emphasis on addictions) from the National Louis University in Evanston, IL., Terry Shapiro is an expert in Addiction Treatment. With over 25 years of experience working in addiction and behavioral health – Terry began his career as an alcohol and drug abuse counselor; has previously served as an Employee Assistance Counselor for Amtrak Railroad and then as the Executive Director at the Council for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services in Tennessee as well as Hazelden Foundation’s Chicago location. Throughout the years, Terry Shapiro has extensively presented at national and regional conferences, conducted countless interventions, and provided numerous print and broadcast interviews on addiction treatment – During his time working in Bogota, Colombia, Terry saw a need and implemented addiction prevention programs in schools and provided counseling to the local youth and their families. An avid baseball fan, Terry even operated a baseball academy in Colombia and was also a scout for the world-famous Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs. Nowadays Terry is a ‘social animal’ and enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three children and two boxers, Luna and Maya.

Dr. Moreno graduated from University of Havana, School of Medicine, in 1994, and completed Family Medicine Residency in 1998 and Neurosurgery Residency in 2004. In 2005, he went to Canada where he completed a Clinical Fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario. Since 2010 he has been working on Clinical Research on Neuroscience and Mental Wellness, completing several clinical trials on both Academic settings as well as private funded Institutions. Dr. Moreno is a Certified Principal Investigator by ACRP and a Certified Clinical Research Professional by SOCRA and trained through a board Certification on Anti-Aging and functional Medicine. His passions and main areas of expertise are in the field of Neuroscience and Mental Wellness, where he has been exploring the fundamentals of signaling molecules and ion channels for Cognitive, Behavioral and Neurodegenerative pathologies. Specifically, he has mainly focused on applying Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation on patients with Depression, OCD, Anxiety, Addictions, Pain, PTSD, Stroke and dementia.

Kylie Stoops is an enthusiastic administrative professional with a reputation for being driven, organized, and efficient. She recently graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2020 where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Health Administration and a minor in Business Law.

Kylie is a currently working on her post graduate degree at FAU and is working towards her master’s degree in Health Care Administration and is projected to graduate in 2022.

Kylie began working in behavioral healthcare in 2016 and has demonstrated success in assisting multiple departments in mental health and substance abuse facilities such as administration, HR, insurance billing and collections, finance, quality assurance, case management, and admissions acting as a liaison between Chief Executive Officers and employees. Moreover, Kylie has played an integral part in initial DCF licensures for 5 levels of care including inpatient detox, residential 1-5, P.H.P., I.O.P. and O.P., multiple Joint Commission accreditations and an AHCA accreditation. Kylie’s varied experience allows her to oversee operational efficiency and implement systems that align with the company’s mission and values.

Diana has accumulated substantial administrative expertise over the last two decades in administrative, office management, and executive assistant roles. Diana focuses on the execution of strategic administrative plans; the creation, structuring, and improvement of administrative, finance, and human resources areas.

Diana has supported C-level executives and fundamental areas such as sales, marketing, customer service, and operations, as well as collaboration with local and worldwide leaders through critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

In her spare time, Diana takes advantage of her free time to spend quality time with her beloved family, meet with friends, exercise, and travel occasionally.

Amy Baldwin is a dedicated TMS Technician, with eight years of experience in the mental health field. Her journey in healthcare began with her role as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a hospital setting. Later, she transitioned into a Behavioral Health Technician in the mental health unit of the same hospital, gaining invaluable insights into the intricacies of mental health care and substance abuse disorders. Her hands-on experience includes assisting with electro convulsive therapy (ECT) procedures and administering TMS treatments for the past two years.

With a strong commitment to the well-being of her patients, Amy is known for her exceptional care and compassion. She believes in the power of TMS as a non-invasive, effective, and convenient method for individuals to improve their mental health while maintaining their dayto-day routines. Amy’s dedication to making a positive impact on those who suffer internally is evident in her work. In her role as a TMS Technician, Amy Baldwin is committed to delivering the highest standard of care to her patients, contributing to their journey towards improved mental health and a higher quality of life.

Amanda Hernandez is a TMS Technician at GIA Miami, where she specializes in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation therapy to support advanced psychiatric care. With a solid foundation as a former Medical Assistant, Amanda brings a thorough understanding of patient care to her current role. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Florida International University, graduating summa cum laude.

Dedicated to advancing her career in psychiatry, Amanda aims to become a Physician Assistant. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys reading, watercolor painting, and relaxing at the beach, which contribute to her balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.

Dr. Larry Brooks is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist and licensed psychologist in private practice in South Florida. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania, a PhD at the University of Miami, a clinical internship at the Yale University School of Medicine, and a fellowship in neuropsychology at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He then became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Miami.

He serves as the Clinical Director of Baptist Health’s Brain Injury and Concussion Clinics. He conducts psychotherapy and neuropsychological assessments with individuals suffering with depression, anxiety, chronic pain, traumatic brain injury, stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and other neurological and psychiatric disorders.
